As a realtor in the Orlando area, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know some of the most festive and family-friendly neighborhoods around. With Halloween right around the corner, it’s time to highlight some of the best spots for trick-or-treating. Whether you’re new to the area or a local looking for the perfect place to enjoy the spooky season, these neighborhoods and events offer safe, fun, and candy-filled adventures for all ages!

1. Happy Frights at Harry P. Leu Gardens (Sept. 27 – Oct. 31, 2024)

For a magical Halloween experience, Harry P. Leu Gardens is the place to be. With 12 immersive worlds and eight themed trick-or-treat stations, this event brings a dash of enchantment to Orlando’s Audubon Park Garden District. It’s a great option for families looking for a safe, well-organized adventure.

2. Curry Ford Candy Crawl (Oct. 25, 2024)

The Curry Ford Candy Crawl offers a unique indoor trick-or-treating experience at Dover Shores Community Center. With candy tents, games, and Halloween vendors, this event ensures kids can fill up on sweets while enjoying festive fun in a climate-controlled environment—perfect for our Florida heat!

3. Graveyard Smash in Lake Nona (Oct. 26, 2024)

Lake Nona’s annual Graveyard Smash is a community favorite, featuring trick-or-treating, inflatables, and a Kids Zone. From 5 to 10 p.m., enjoy live entertainment, face painting, and more. The event is free to the public, but for those looking to keep the spooky fun going, Boxi Park has even more Halloween activities with a $5 cover.

4. Trick or Treat Safe Zone (Oct. 26, 2024)

Looking for a safe, educational environment to celebrate Halloween? Downtown Orlando’s Orange County Regional History Center and Orlando Public Library team up for a family-friendly day of trick-or-treating, crafts, and costumes. With free admission, it’s a fun way to explore the city while making sweet memories.

5. Trunk or Treat at the Eatonville Chamber (Oct. 31, 2024)

Cap off Halloween night with Eatonville Chamber of Commerce’s Trunk or Treat! Decorate your car and join the festivities with a costume contest, trunk-to-trunk candy collection, and festive displays. It’s a safe and fun way for families to enjoy Halloween in one of Orlando’s most charming communities.
